Introduction
Natyanjali Nrutya Kala Kendra
The Indian classical dance of Bharatanatyam has enthralled audiences since millennia. It beautifully combines music, emotions, expressions and graceful physical movements, showcasing the multiple skills of the dancer.
NatyanjaliNrutya Kala Kendra, founded by VidushiDr. Sahana Bhat represents the brilliance of this art form through their 1,000+ students. It was established in the year 1996 at Sirsi with 20 students with the goal of making dance education accessible and affordable to all sections of the society. Today, it is present in 14 districts of Karnataka, carrying forward the glorious legacy and tradition of Bharatanatyam.

About the Founder
VidushiDr. Sahana Bhat’s illustrious career has spanned nearly 3 decades, 3 continents, 18 awards, and a few thousand performances across the world. She has performed many programs for Doordarshan, Karnataka Culture Department and Sangeeta Nrutya Academy, Bengaluru. A few of her notable performances abroad and in India are mentioned below.
