Natyanjali aims to introduce and integrate Indian classical dance as an important personality development tool for children studying in classes 3 to 10 in Government schools; identify and train the talented among them to reach distinguished levels of excellence.
Demonstration classes with Government schools
Natyanjali, in its sincere endeavour to make classical dance accessible to children from all sections of society, began classes in 5 Government schools in Hubballi and Sirsi in 2018. About 100 students in each class were trained for a period of 1 year, post-which the meritorious students are given specialized training for stage performances. This initiative has resumed with full force from January 2022.
Classical dance training for orphans
The Ministry of Culture empanels reputed troupes to perform at important cultural festivals in India and abroad. Natyanjali’s continued collaboration with the Ministry gives its students excellent exposure at prestigious events, adding significant value to their careers too.
